Eragon

Honestly I hope they could try to do the movie again in the future. But each book should have 2 movies, you can't fit even a portion of the story in one movie. I LOVE Harry Potter, read it 10 times. And listened to it 5. But Eragon most certainly has the potential to surpass Harry Potter if done right. Such a shame. I just started to reread the cycle again, I think this is 5. Enjoy your day

Worst ever. Peter Jackson changed less in his trilogy of the hobbit book. I should have asked for my money back for such a terrible movie at the theater. So much was changed in the movie, and the story is so trashed, I am ashamed to have even watched it. Shame on the director! The part in the description about battling the tyrannical king is a little misleading. Eragon doesn't fight him yet, but I guess he does fight one of the Kings lackeys.

This is a mediocre adaption at best. It's disappointing, because the movie had the potential to be even decent. Instead, they disregard character development and plot and jump straight into the action. They go through what was half of the book in under forty minutes. This movie turns into the worst Hollywood has to offer: a big budget, lots of violence, and bad acting. Sorry to the director, but this is vile and deserves to be thrown into the garbage. Save your money for something else.
