About this movie

From the award-winning director of Hotel Rwanda comes a powerful and sweeping epic set during the last days of the Ottoman Empire. Sparks fly when a humble Armenian medical student (Isaac) falls in love with an artist (Le Bon) already committed to a renowned and worldly journalist (Bale). But as tensions rise with the outbreak of World War I, the trio must set passions aside to survive as the world around them crumbles and one of history’s darkest yet rarely told chapters unfolds before their eyes. - ( Original Title - The Promise (2017) )

Another sponsored anti Turk propaganda!!! None of the stories you will watch in this movie comes from a real life, total garbage!!! Now all actors in this movie are in my sheet list!!! Each side has own story, there must be a reason why armenian genocide has not accepted by most countries and that reason is "There was no genocide", accept the fact and re write the history books!!!

I watched it in theaters. It was heartbreaking considering the present still ongoing denials. Look what happened cannot be ignored, the truth cannot be twisted, altered, omitted, nor rewritten in a form that favors a group of people over another. What happened, happened; period. RIP to all the victims as those of us in the light side of humanity can only hope our darkest nature doesn't have to happen again.
