About this movie

Jennifer Lopez (Maid in Manhattan, Out of Sight, Monster-in-Law, The Wedding Planner) stars as Claire Peterson, a high school literature teacher struggling to get back in the dating game after separating from her cheating husband (John Corbett, TV’s Parenthood and United States of Tara). When handsome and charismatic 19-year-old Noah (Ryan Guzman, Step Up series, TV’s Pretty Little Liars) moves in next door, Claire has a moment of weakness that leads to an extremely intense and intimate night together. Noah’s attraction quickly turns into a dangerous, violent obsession, forcing Claire to her limits as she protects her world from being torn apart. Seen this same plot done much better in multiple different movies. Jennifer Lopez needs to stick with singing, she's a really horrible actress. All her scenes seemed forced, monotonous, and no emotion. Seemed like she was just standing there reading cue cards. Almost 30yo Ryan Guzman, not a believable high school student. Don't pay attention to the 5 star reviews, look at the pitiful Rotten Tomato scores.

Not one of her better movies. "Enough" was much better. Very mediocre acting on everyone's part. But it was suspenseful. However the ending was really really bad. It ruined the movie for me. Too much gore and violence in the last eight minutes. Very predictable ending. I think Jennifer Lopez picked this movie so she could run around half naked. The sex scene was stupid. She needs to accept that she is getting older and she should stop making movies (or music videos for that matter) that are more suited for a 20 year old. I think she has a big problem growing old. Well, somebody needs to send her the memo that she will not get younger but will get even older. It's getting really boring always seeing her dressed and acting like she is a teenager. ENOUGH (no pun intended!).

Boy next door was a fair movie not bad I've seen her make better movies liked enough and loved the wedding planner I'm really surprised that Jennifer actually agreed to make a love scene like that I'm sure Marc Anthony must of been pissssssed off regardless if they are divorced or not. I think the ending really could of been better it was the worse part of the acting in the movie it should of been showing more of her husband (in the movie)fighting for her then the little parts he had he didn't fight enough
