About this movie

After an epic battle against the Borg (cybernetically-enhanced life forms), Captain Picard and the crew of the Enterprise follow the Borg Sphere back into the 21st century to prevent the Borg from contaminating Earth's timeline and preventing Earth's first contact. Picard and the crew must work together to battle the Borg Queen before she assimilates all of mankind and changes history forever. Resistance is futile.

Like James Cameron's 'Aliens' this one is all about the Queen. Alice Krige dazzles as the enigmatic matriarch of the Borg brood. She is also joined by four other incredible actors whose performances anchor this second TNG outing. Brent Spiner, Patrick Stewart, James Cromwell, and Alfre Woodard are some of the reasons - the main reasons really - why the film works so well. While the later movies and the new Abrams versions excel in action and in visual spectacle, here we have a story whose foundations are in compelling characters and the brilliant actors who so memorably bring them to life.

First Contact is of the same level as "Kahn" for ToS. James Cromwell and Alice Kriege area amazing as guest actors in this film and I truly believe this was the finest work by the entire cast. There's little bits of humor mixed in (Tough little ship) to lighten this very dark movie and Picard's speech in the Conference Room is amazingly delivered. First Contact was even used in the Mirror Universe episode of "Enterprise". You don't need to be a Trek fan to enjoy this movie.

I really love this Captain Jean-Luc Picard He Is So Graceful so manly I never thought it could could be another version of a James T Kirk different but also great I would love to see them both in a movie together I am a Star Trek fan I have been a Star Trek fan since I was 8 years old I am 55 now and I miss those that have passed but I'm so looking forward to the future captain of the Star Trek Enterprise. give us the fabulosity of James T Kirk and the calming wisdom of John Luke Picard❤
