Possum

I could understand why people would find the movie slow but its never uneventful. Its dark and bleak story, along with its incredible atmosphere make for a horrifically unique surreal experience. Possum is also the most f'ed up puppet in existence. The movies chilling score and perfect scares make it a great horror film. Wouldnt recomend as a casual spooky date movie, its more a sit down and experience kind of flick.

Amazing cinematography, score and acting. If need be watch the trailer prior to watching the film so your not at a complete loss. Seems some people don't pick up on all of the poetic explanations as to what our main character is going through mentally.. or physically for that matter. Please give it a chance though. Don't watch it with people who think they're comedians either.. really kills the vibe. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Exactly the tone of a horror movie I look for; grim, eerie, and surreal. Reminded me quite a bit of Eraserhead and used similar thematic devices that The Babadook used. This was much, much better than The Babadook and feels nothing like it besides that lol. The creature design is incredible and really unsettling.
