First of all I LOVE Judy Holiday!!! She is just perfect for this role. Everyone knows Oscars are not given to too many comedic roles. I really can't think of any. Goldie Hawn was nominated for Private Benjamin. I'm not a huge fan of William Holden, but he was a good fit for his role. There's this one scene where she meets this proper lady and she turns on the radio really loud and starts to hum along and sort of dances. She just cracks me up. And every time Broderick Crawford calls for her, she yells "WHHHHAAAATTT"" really loud. She's just funny and beautiful and another thing she died when she was only 44yrs old. Way too young....
