About this movie

History repeats itself in this inventive, side-splitting comedy. Murray, a Pittsburgh weatherman on assignment in Punxsutawney, PA., gets stuck in a comic time-warp and must experience the same groundhog day over and over again...until he learns to appreciate the little things in life! Along the way he falls in love with his beautiful and brainy producer.

It would have been five times better if they got someone else for Andie MacDowell's character, or if she was just eliminated from the entire movie. The only reason the movie holds up is because of Bill Murray's comical performance and Harold Ramis' clever writing.

After watching edge of tomorrow , I had to go back and watch groundhog day again. Keep crashing random parties bill and chive on.

This is an excellent movie that is worth watching over and over again. The story line is very well written and performed. You will continue to catch new subbtle things in the story after many veiwings. Definitely worth the price.
