One night, he gets a call from a customer and sends Mi-jin, one of his girls still remaining, while ignoring her refusal due to her bad cold. As something smells fishy, he searches for her.

Was led to this film based on suggestions that is was like the film OldBoy and I Saw the Devil. I was expecting the same type of gritty brutality as those films but was rather pulled in by the emotions of the main character and the daughter. The previous two films out outstanding but surreal. The Chaser has a more life like story. Excellent redemption film. Will be ordering the Blu-Ray in the next couple of days. This film shouldn't be missed by fans of the revenge/redemption genre.

It's hard to find a thriller like those of Alfred Hitchcock but this film is truly scary in so many ways. The character development makes feel for the characters. The story line and cinematography put you on the edge your seat even though you suspect how the story will end.

Great movie but it seems like all Korean thrillers involving Police wind up being a little keystone cops at several times. Great action and fight scenes. The plot has several nonsensical holes in it. I'd rate it 3.5.
