About this movie

Long ago, a mysterious masked shinobi unleashed the Nine-Tailed Fox onto the Village Hidden in the Leaves to spread chaos and destruction. But the Fourth Hokage, Minato Namikaze, and his wife Kushina Uzumaki sealed the Tailed Beast into their newborn son Naruto to save the village, foiling the shinobi's plan.

Years later, Naruto and his friends succeed in driving away the infamous Akatsuki, who have mysteriously returned from the dead. Upon returning to the village, the young shinobi are praised by their families for completing a dangerous mission. Reminded of how alone he is, Naruto begins to wonder what it's like to have parents, when a strange masked figure appears before him – the same masked shinobi responsible for the death of his parents!

Not sure what happened to my review that I posted a year ago to when I re-watched this, so I'll just post it again. Originally during Halloween my twin brother wanted to get this movie which would've been nice but then I was like hold up, let me see if I can find anymore Naruto movies until we decided to buy this one. All I can say is this in such high quality and such top tier music which never fails to amaze me how good Naruto soundtracks and music are; in fact in my opinion Naruto music is probably the best music in anime. The movie itself and the storyline of the movie honestly puts you in a rollercoaster of emotions where you're sometimes angry, sad, or overall happy and excited to see Minato and Kushina pop out of nowhere and save Naruto let alone how we all got to see Naruto being joyful despite it being short-lived im glad that he finally got to exprience Minato and Kushina up close as a family especially when we a get to see Naruto do the same thing Minato did to Obito 16 years ago. This is why we can a fail to support Naruto especially with how it plays with your emotion of always being a supporter of his. Oh and plus, I finally got to show my twin brother the scene where Naruto uses Flying Rajin on Obito, which is my favorite memorable moment of Naruto altogether. Best animated movie I have ever watched. PERIOD. So many bonds as well; family bonds, friendship bonds and how Kurama finally bonded with Naruto.

This movie was very funny and emotional. The only problem is Sakura and her selfishness. With her being the main heroine, she could do MUCH better. Also, it would be better if we didn't just see the alternate characters for just one scene, but have them all come together at the end and help fight off Obito/ evil Menma. It seems like it was only a temporary way to catch the audience's attention. Other than those two complaints, the movie was good. It was great to see Naruto with his parents.
