Super

(no spoilers) My five star rating is partly due to my bias of having always wanted a super hero movie like this one. On top of that, I watched this already being a fan of Bacon, Dwight, Page & the elf lady, because of their other movies. Be warned that it has a really weird feeling/atmosphere about it, and without going into it with all this prejudicial love already in your mind like I did; you might not like it much. I can't give a good evaluation of this movie since my mind was clearly decided before even watching it. I can say that some of Liv's stuff really caught me by surprise on an emotional level so perhaps her acting was better than I had anticipated for this film. I can say that I was hit pretty big by some of the twists that I did not see coming. Those are a couple of things I appreciate from any movie. This movie f'd with my mind and emotions a bit. Omg and it even had a lil tiny role for Mal Reynolds of Serenity (another actor I am prejudicely in favor of anything he does)! I've got to watch this again. Edit: Okay, just watched it again (after 5 yrs); and I think it deserves the five stars. It is unique weird and heartfelt in a really odd way. I enjoyed it even more this time. So glad this film exists!

I will NEVER watch any TV show or movie with Rainn Wilson in it EVER again. He is a sociopath-pedophile who is demonic in nature and tortures his child victims without remorse. He is devoid of empathy and deserves punishment in the same way he obtains his ‘treats’ from his victims. He is a waste of human skin. I only gave this a 1 star because it would not let me post a review commentary without it. Use your critical thinking to connect what comes up when you Google his name, and the word ‘pedophile‘ Get ready for a real eye opener about Rainn and ALL his hungry Satan-worshiping friends who torture, maim, terrorize and kill children and babies. This film is very dear to me not just because it really is a beautiful hilarious super good to the bone feeling flick with infectious performances from Rainn Wilson, Liv Tyler, Kevin Bacon and several other amazing actors, but I was also blessed as hell to have got a chance to work as a background performer on this Super gem
