By modern standards this movie is slow and uneventful. Its of no fault of the actors Steven Lang and Jeff Daniels gave outstanding performances. Lang's portrayal of General Jackson was spot on. This movie was in serous need of a better director and a skillful editor. This is a fine movie to watch if you like a slow paced three and a half hour drama about the civil war such as Gone With the Wind. But if your a person who came up in the time of the Marvel comic book movie culture you will not enjoy style.

This has to be the slowest movie I've ever seen. Strong acting cast, but do to the monotonous story line, the movie goes nowhere. Not only tough to watch in its entirety, every 15 min seems like an hour

This movie should only be watched if you have a serious need to test your manhood. this is the worlds longest and slowest plot in the history of film making. I would suggest you watch the nasa channel instead or cspan at 3am if you want more entertainment. please only watch if you are braving a serious test of life, beware of the length.
