About this movie

On a winter morning in 2014, a donor heart arrives at a New York hospital. The recipient unexpectedly dies on the operating table, forcing an organ transplant committee to convene with one hour to decide which of three other patients deserves the life-saving heart. God's work is now left in the hands of five doctors, including: Boxer (Kelsey Grammer), a cynical but brilliant heart surgeon; Jordan (Julia Stiles), an idealistic up-and-comer; and Gilroy (Janeane Garofalo), a weary bureaucrat. As the debate over the heart heats up, medicine, money and morality clash.

A masterpiece of an art; this movie is so realistic and focuses on lots of decisions behind the scene in a medical setting. It got some powerful dialogues that resonates in your head even after the movie ends, so emotional and majority of the time doing things professionally than basing your decisions on emotions in these type of work setting. Wonderfully acted and I must congratulate Austin Stark for these wonderful writing and directing skills in bringing this to the big screen.

Great great story. Has a very real message. Maybe could have a little more insight when timeline changed.

An unfair movie. Don't watch if you don't want to be mad. Do not recommend.
