Master Splinter once said in the original comics and in the 2003 series (The series that was actually based on the original comics) that change is good but I disagree on this one. Even though Michaelangelo isn't my favorite turtle they still messed up him so bad that it even annoys me. They no-joke compared him with Patrick Star for who was the stupidest character, and April is not a teenager she's seventeen. Plus the Utrom are not bad, according to this show they are the worst things of all time.

As a long time TMNT fan, this show has everything I could want. There is a level of affection here for even the bad iterations of the green team that is unparalleled. The writing is fantastic and the creativity is endless. There are some minor missteps (namely the first half of season 3) but even those become endearing in the face of the franchise history. Watch it now.

I love this show, the later seasons are a little less good but the characters are amazingly built, the story is a little wierd because it feels like everything happens twice before they creators fully committed but it has some great voice acting and I love how the brothers bicker like a family would, just all the time instead of one liners, just small stuff, really makes it real, this show is the best tmnt show when it comes to characters. But story not so much.I recommend it tho, give it a shot
