Like Ya Cut G
Going into this, despite the reviews, I was skeptical. I suspected it was going to be a bit of a B movie, two star, "thriller", and perhaps cheesy. The premise of the movie sounded even a little, uninteresting to me_ However, I was met with surprise to find, it was none of that. In fact, it was unbelievably unique and well done. Solid acting, solid camera work, and simple yet effective plot. Its a true human movie: how dumb decisions in a state of threat and panic, are really so very human. It makes it feel more organic and genuine this way. As oppose to doing something stupid for sake of plot development and progress. Where that is just lazy and dumb. Green Room felt believable, despite the premise actually being a real far stretch. It made you feel more sympathetic towards the protagonists and their trying to survive. Feeling bad for members who make a dumb decision and pay for it. Highly recommend this for someone looking to see some really solid work.
