About this movie

Arnold Schwarzenegger returns as The Terminator in this explosive action-adventure spectacle. Now he's one of the good guys, sent back in time to protect John Connor, the boy destined to lead the freedom fighters of the future. Linda Hamilton reprises her role as Sarah Connor, John's mother, a quintessential survivor who has been institutionalized for her warning of the nuclear holocaust she knows is inevitable. Together, the threesome must find a way to stop the ultimate enemy - the T-1000, the most lethal Terminator ever created. Co- written, produced and directed by James Cameron (THE TERMINATOR, ALIENS, TITANIC), this visual tour de force is also a touching human story of survival.

James Cameron had already made a name for himself with the original and also with Aliens. After The Abyss was a minor failure, despite its technical achievements, Cameron made his mark as a Hollywood box office legend with one of the greatest scifi action films in history! Nearly 30 years later and the effects and 2nd unit sets are still amazing

Director James Cameron once again directed the second film in the franchise which won 4 Academy Awards. The premise is that the T-800 protects John Connor from the T-1000, which that his prime target is to kill him. The cast from the previous film in the franchise reprise their roles, including new cast members for this one. Probably the best film in the franchise yet! 😊

It time travel problem. I enjoyed the dialog and the banter and the characters. But nobody stopped to consider the ramifications if they were successful. That being that John Connor would cease to exist in a puff of time travel illogic. All it needed was the conversation and the decision to go or no go. Nonetheless, as far as tune travel stories go, it is a fun movie.
