About this movie

From the creators of The Art of FLIGHT, Red Bull Media House presents The Fourth Phase, a snowboarding epic starring iconic athlete Travis Rice.

While exploring the untapped backcountry of his native Wyoming, Rice plots a 16,000 mile course to follow the hydrological cycle around the north Pacific, where snow and ice create dreamlike landscapes on the towering mountains above.

From the Japanese Alps to the volcanoes of Russia, and a spectacularly remote area of Alaska, Rice is joined by several of snowboarding’s most innovative riders including Mark Landvik, Eric Jackson, Bryan Iguchi, Pat Moore, Mikkel Bang, Jeremy Jones, Victor de Le Rue, Ben Ferguson, and more.

Scored by Kishi Bashi, The Fourth Phase carves a fresh path by using an artistic blend of action, story and cinematography to bring this stunning 4K feature to life. This film is for anyone fascinated by the possibilities of adventure, of the natural world – of life.

Great movie. "The art of flight" was next level. This isn't as progressive. However, if you live for the 4ish months you can spend every spare minute of free time snowboarding/skiiing. If you have spent much time in the mountains. You have experienced for seasons in a day. You will understand why Travis has such passion and appreciation for how it all happens. The people bashing it are the people who spend a couple days at a resort. Try Camping on snow and hike 5k vertical for one line.

Still an action sport movie but more mixed with a Nat Geo special than "Jackass" with snowboards. It tries to give a more respectful perspective on the environment than how the Art of Flight tried to showcase the spectacular riding nature provides for, and does so quite well.

Next level cinematography and editing. More than just a snowboard film, This is a modern day epic. Even if you don't snowboard or have never tried, this film is worth a watch. If youre a Fan of the previous T-Rice / Brainfarm films then this will blow your mind. Enjoy!
