The main story arch with max just had barely any character arc whatsoever, like no internal growths max just has this one random thing happen, then just like the flip of a switch Max's character turns completely the opposite of what he was, in the beginning. So plot wasn't very good and the intertwining plots didn't make one bit of sense at all, BUT the jokes were funny and cute which was about the only good thing in this movie

The Secret Life Of Pets 2 manages but falls a bit short of the great first. No sausage daydream, but another funny day dream. An epic dog jump onto a train, yes. Interestingly it has 3 plots going on at once. Comedy with this one falls a bit short of the first. As you can see, i'm mixed on this one. Maybe 3 and a half or getting closer to it. I don't know.

It's awful. The first Pets animation was great, but this one was a waste of my money and time. The voices and speech were terrible and conversations were dumb cliches. I fast-forwarded through it looking for interesting scenes, but there was nothing. Very disappointing. I hate that this teaches animal abuse to the kids who watch it.
