X (2022)

As a horror movie fan, I had high hopes for this one. But, alas, it was just plain awful! Essentially, an old lady wants to have intercourse; just like the young actors in the movie. The cheese falls of the preverbial cracker (aka goes crazy) and she goes on a killing spree (with her hubby) and...there you have it. That's pretty much it.

I am beyond baffled that this movie has such a high score on Rotten Tomatoes. I kept waiting for something original or exciting to happen but, nothing. Giving it two stars just because I really like Jenna Ortega and Mia Goth. Definitely don't pay $20 to watch this. Feel I wasted about $18. 2/5

I like the movie overall but I feel like I should have liked it more. 1st off I hate when a movie starts with the ending especially when it gives away so much of the pay off. 2nd the song "Don't fear the reaper" has been used in sooo many movies that it was predictable. 3rd it took about an Hour before the "Horror" started. But the kills were pretty good, Pearl's dance after the kill reminded me of "The Joker" after the train kill scene and the funny part was the Van said on the side PLOWING SERVICE aka Porn? Haha
