About this movie

Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele, a.k.a. the hugely popular comedy duo Key & Peele, star as Clarence and Rell, two cousins who live in the city but are far from streetwise. When Rellā€™s beloved kitten, Keanu, is catnapped, the hopelessly straight-laced pair must impersonate ruthless killers in order to infiltrate a street gang and retrieve the purloined feline. But the incredibly adorable kitten becomes so coveted that the fight over his custody creates a gang war, forcing our two unwitting heroes to take the law into their own hands.

I kinda wanted more because the movie was a bit short and didn't give much background to characters and had holes in the plot like crazy. It also wasn't that funny at all! I do love the two comedians and had extremely high expectations for this movie and felt like I was let down. Anyone notice how they overused the "schwing" blade/knife sound effect?

A poorly written and convoluted story about a cat that rarely makes an appearance in the film. The fact that all these criminals could have a soft spot in their hearts for the same cat is stupid. There are few interactions between these dedicated and violet "animal lovers" and the source of their desires. Just don't watch it!!!

Funny movie. How are people complaining about plot holes in a movie that involves 2 dudes risking their lives to get a magic kitten back. Great baked, but still funny sober. Good buddy comedy a la Harold and Kumar and the like. It's a different kind of comedy from their show; no satire to be found here, just turn your brain off and enjoy..
