About this movie

In “Point Break,” a young FBI agent, Johnny Utah (Luke Bracey), infiltrates a cunning team of thrill-seeking elite athletes–led by the charismatic Bodhi (Edgar Ramirez). The athletes are suspected of carrying out a spate of crimes in extremely unusual ways. Deep undercover, and with his life in imminent danger, Utah strives to prove they are the architects of this string of inconceivable crimes. The film is replete with the most daring athleticism ever seen in a motion picture. These action adventure feats are performed by elite athletes representing the world’s best in class in big-wave surfing, wingsuit flying, sheer-face snowboarding, free rock climbing, and high-speed motorcycling.

This is a poor excuse for a remake. The replacements will never be a replacement for Patrick Swayze and Keanu Reeves. All in all this movie should have never been filmed it's cheap it's cheesy and it's trying to play at being something it will never be the original Point Break is a classic they should have let it be. I actually give this movie less than a star but since I can only read it won't as low as one star that's what it gets.

(spoilers) This is probably the worst movie I've ever seen. The writing is absolutely atrocious and acting is poor and unrealistic. At the part when the guy jumps onto the cable car, swings down into it and shoots the person inside who turns out to be that girl from that other scene (characters are so non-memorable you can't even remember their names), I couldn't have cared less, I was just rolling my eyes. And when the dude who's the leader of the group goes out to the ocean and surfs into a wave and dies, I was left incredibly confused. Wait, what? Why did you do that? There doesn't seem to be any logical explanation for anything that happens. And how they even manage to make a surf scene and a free-form rock climbing scene so painfully uninteresting and bland, I have absolutely no clue. Please, just stay away from this piece of trash movie.

Terrible, terrible, terrible waste of money on this movie. Horrible use of an iconic movie's title. Someone should make them change the name of the movie, it doesn't fit. Very bad acting also. The characters didn't fit the parts or seem believable. The CGI was lacking in some sequences. Like watching a low budget attack of the killer tomatoes type of graphics. The plot was lacking. More or less like watching a sequence of stunt videos made into a movie that makes absolutely no sense. Any chance I could get my money back???
