It Takes a Man and a Woman

The fairy tale romance of Miggy and his assistant Laida comes to a crashing halt with the loss of their fathers—Miggy’s father died, while Laida’s father cheated on her mother. The stress from these family problems leads to Miggy feeling alone and turning to an ex-lover, Belle. Feeling hurt and betrayed, Laida breaks up with Miggy and pursues a life and career abroad. Despite their disagreements, they eventually reach a truce in time for an important business meeting in New York. While abroad, Miggy and Laida’s attraction to each other resurfaces, but Belle’s presence and the conditions of their new business partners make it difficult for the former lovers to resume their romance.
