S1 E9: Officers Malloy (Martin Milner) and Reed (Kent McCord) mark one for the books when they investigate an almost unbelievable report of a stolen lawn. When the officers arrive at the Jenkins home, Mr. Jenkins (Harry Hickox) appears to have gone berserk. But he merely is pounding a shovel in despair at the bare ground left by the burglars who had neatly rolled up his dichondra lawn and hauled it away in a pickup truck. The pair finish off the shift catching a couple of young hoodlums who are loaded with credit cards. The cast includes Rory Stevens as Percy Waterman, the boy witness to the lawn theft, Steve Cory as James Talbot, and Floyd Mutrux as Douglas Milne, credit cards suspects.
