EPISODE 6
Episode 6
Last episode in the current run of the Scottish BAFTA nominated comedy series by writer performers Iain Connell and Robert Florence. This week in the fictional town of 'Burnistoun' the Legend of King Arthur springs to life when a Burnistoun man pulls the magic sword, Excalibur, out of the pavement. Meanwhile two punters enjoying a lock-in at the pub find their enjoyment eerily curtailed by the arrival of the pub's ghost, the Wee Baldy Man. Identical twins Dom and Tom Thoms allow us a peek into their lives where their tendency to finish each other's sentences isn't helped by the fact they are often talking at cross purposes. Regular characters McGregor and Toshan, the self-styled 'quality polis' team, finally get their come-uppance at a disciplinary interview with their boss while Burnistoun's failed entrepreneur, Alex Ciderson, reveals how a family tragedy led to his latest misguided invention. Finally, one of Burnistoun's local football teams, realising it has uglier fans than its rival, decides to sign some good looking foreign fans to improve the look of the terraces. 'Burnistoun' is written by and stars Iain Connell and Robert Florence and features Louise Stewart, Richard Rankin, Gerry McLaughlin and Kirsty Strain.
