When Hulk Hogan joined Scott Hall and Kevin Nash to form a group of villains called the "New World Order," the world of sports and entertainment was changed forever. The nWo became the most influential faction in the history of sports entertainment. For the first time ever, fans were cheering for the bad guys, and it spilled over into pop culture. Their off-the-cuff, unscripted, reality-based brand of storytelling revolutionized sports entertainment and TV in general. The nWo were the key figures in the infamous "Monday Night War" that nearly put the WWE out of business.
