About this movie

Donnie Yen (upcoming Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon 2) ignites the screen in a return to the role that made him an icon - as Ip Man, the real-life Wing Chun grandmaster who mentored Bruce Lee. In this explosive third installment of the blockbuster martial arts series, when a band of brutal gangsters led by a crooked property developer (Mike Tyson) make a play to take over the city, Master Ip is forced to take a stand. Fists will fly as some of the most incredible fight scenes ever filmed play out on the big screen in this soon-to-be genre classic.

I love all ip man movies and this one does not dissapoint at all. The fighting was great and more realistic than the previous movies where some of the moves were far fetched and unbelievable. This one was very emotional too. Not sure what the point of mike tyson was in the movie. He didnt bring anything to the story line other than a 3 minute fight scene. Overall the movie kept me engaged. Its always great when the good guy does not break his moral code or values and still wins. Loved it. Hope for ip man 4

3 was by far the best movie of them all. I have not watched the final fight cause Donnie isn't Ip Man in that one, but I do plan on seeing it. Don't get me wrong the first and second one were great movies, but this one. This story is probably the closest one any of us will have to home. This is the one that made me cry. I was super impressed with this one. Wish more movies could give me the emotional impact that this one did.

If you liked it when Ip Man destroyed 10 Japanese guys at once, you'll LOVE this movie. 10 guys turns into 50 guys, and Ip Man is 2x because of the other guy in the movie who's Wing Cheun is just as good as Ip Man's. Just when I thought the martial arts couldn't get any cooler to watch or better at being filmed, Ip Man 3 comes out and proves me wrong. Pretty cool story-line, too. I think it might even be better than Ip Man 2's story-line.
