If it weren't for the soundtrack I think I would've thrown myself out a window before I got to the end. Too long. But I'm glad I didn't because the last 20 minutes are the best part of the movie, even though I had to go online to see if I could get some kind of explanation as too what the hell I just watched. For trying to be so art house I wasn't expecting the ending and outcome of Elle s character to be so literal. But I'm intrigued to go back and watch it again. The credits are a little sad to watch too.

I wanted to stop watching it every 10 minutes because I thought something would happen and it didn't! It had very long pauses to the point where I thought it was freezing, however it was just the movie. The movie itself was really weird and I think they should have had a regular story line instead of this big metaphors for everything. No wonder why it was only 99 cents to rent, it sucked and it was quite disturbing.

A little disappointed. Was trying very hard to be like its inspirations but couldn't quite pull it off. Stylish, artistically shot cinematography, but subject matter & dialogue was a bit flat. No real depth, just same ol' theme as before: girls obsessed with beauty/perfection, doing anything to achieve it. Anything that takes the modeling industry too seriously just comes across as shallow and pretentious. It's hard to wax philosophical. However, the ending did redeem the drab story a bit. Pretty hardcore.
