About this show

Jessica Biel stars as Cora, a young wife and mother who suddenly and inexplicably commits a violent crime while at a public beach with her husband and child. Cora does not deny responsibility but claims to have no idea why she did it. Why would this seemingly normal woman commit such a random and senseless act of violence? While the facts of the crime appear to be indisputable, Detective Harry Ambrose (Bill Pullman) suspects that there is more to the case than meets the eye and begins to thoroughly examine Cora's past in search of an explanation.

DO NOT PURCHASE THE SEASON PASS!!! BUY EACH EPISODE INDIVIDUALLY!!! Season Pass ($30 SD, $35 HD) Buying each episode individually ($16 SD, $24 HD) I across The Sinner Season One on Netflix six months after having being diagnosed with PTSD and Panic Disorder. The show was a bit triggering, but it ultimately reminded me that I'm not alone and that these "dramatic" things do actually happen to people. Hopefully they do the right rhinf and offer partial refunds for those who purchased the pass.

Season 1 is great season 2 is ok. Season 3 is a pain in A S S. and I hope that the main character the Harry directive goes rotten in hell for his sin! He is such an old fool. And I hope really hope this personality doesn’t exist in real life. Because he puts so many people in danger just for him to act like he is good god do some favors upon some psycho people. Not recommended. I have not finished season 3. Put i hope he pays the great price then he finally has his eyes widely open and live with his sin for life. It’s the best punishment for him who has power but work with personal interest and put other people’s life in danger.

Liking it so far. This is a quality show. While we all know there's no such thing as a brand new concept, a well thought out story and good acting make up for that. The Sinner has both. I'm 5 episodes in, and had run out of quality shows when I found this in the PlayStore. I highly recommend it.
