I watch Korean movies frequently. Personally I believe the story lines, the acting, and even the effects are all way better and more advanced than American movies. Along with the gods is by far my FAVORITE movie! I would recommend it as a 10/10 movie! It is incredibly spiritual and though it is a different belief system from my own, having to do with reincarnation and many gods, there is a LOT of truth to this movie. The heart and sacrificial mind of the main characters Mother touched my heart the most, and the line, "what has been forgiven on the earth can not be tried in the afterlife" was a DEEEEP point! It made me repent and give thanks to my God Elohim, Heavenly Father second coming Christ AhnSahngHong and Heavenly Mother New Jerusalem for their grace and sacrifice.

Okay, I bought this movie simply because the trailer made me laugh. Plus the CGI looked pretty darn good. There was that. So, I watched it. You can see the seams, it's a bit disjointed, and kind of jumps a bit, but the story is complete. They don't leave you much to question except there could be a part two at some time. That all being said, this is absolutely one of the best stories I've ever watched in movies. You will cry, or come as close as possible if just falling short of calling it so. It's cheesy in a way, but I loved it. Could have been more action, but it really wasn't needed. I can't say much negative after that. I'm actually still digesting and breaking it down, but I'm willing to watch this one over and over. By the end of it I couldn't even tell it'd been two hours. It was so immersive, and I had to get up and do stuff several times seems just kept getting lost in it over and over. May not resonate with everyone. Sorry for your loss. This was good though. A sequel would be purchased without hesitation.
