Dr. Seuss' The Cat in the Hat

All the negative reviews for this movie need to calm down. It's meant for the family, not JUST for kids. Why does everyone act like family movies can't have subliminal messages that aren't even that inappropriate. Plenty of kid shows/movies have it and everyone is too distracted by the animation or look of the movie. It doesn't have to reflect or feel like the actual storybooks either. 5/5 movie because I had a great childhood and this brings nostalgia. This doesn't deserve a poor rating.

So when I watched this a few weeks ago. I saw this was too mature for the kids who are reading the book. Because there was many animals treated poorly. And this kid. Swings a bat at the cat and hits his crotch. Next There was these scenes where the cat uses the word bloody and when he finds out he cut his tail he yelled SON OF A (bleep) and he makes a mess and the things spread it around. But the cat does clean up the house in the end. And Conrad breaks the rules in the house. Next there was almost swearing and the cat picks up a garden tool refers to it as a Dirty hoe then when he gets his car he spells out the s-word. Then what was sexist was that the cat humps the kids babysitter and he looks at a picture his tail sticks straight and his hat goes up when the kids say that's our mom. Also this random character drinks beer. But some of these scenes did make me laugh. So Don't let little kids see this movie. Very bad director.

It is one of the worst movies I have ever seen. It is very annoying, with its characters, (especially that idiotic retarded cat) storyline and don't even get me started on those awful disgusting jokes. I can't believe I used to love this piece of annoyance back then. Thank God I don't anymore.
